In conjunction with the World No-Tobacco Day 2022, UCSI University is organizing an online Tobacco-Free Awareness Campaign, with the title “Why Quit? How Addicted Are You?”. This webinar is organized in collaboration with the Society for Cancer Advocacy and Awareness (SCAN) Kuching and Borneo Medical Centre.

The main objectives of this webinar are to create awareness of the side effects of tobacco smoking. It also aims to encourage youth and the community to stop smoking and give up tobacco products.

Dr. Wong Jyi Lin, a speaker is a Respiratory Physician from Borneo Medical Centre, holding professional memberships and certifications from the Malaysia Medical Association, Malaysia Thoracic Society, Royal College of Physicians (RCP UK), Asian Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR) and Certified in Good Clinical Practice, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh.
